Practice

A Stoic evening review should produce a better tomorrow, not a trial.

Use a short review to examine judgment and action, then put the day down.

Three questions are enough

  1. Where did I act well?
  2. Where did an impression or impulse choose for me?
  3. What specific response will I rehearse for next time?

Do not turn review into rumination

The purpose is correction. Once the lesson and next action are clear, repeating the scene adds no new training.

Keep it short

Five minutes done consistently beats a beautiful journaling ritual abandoned after four days.

Make it practical.

Take one distinction from this page and apply it to one real situation before reading another article.
